About Me

About Me

In an age of uncertainty that demands environmental and social justice amongst complex digital-human relations, I believe that managing crises effectively is something we all share as a personal and professional responsibility. For this reason, emergency and crisis management have become the focus of my work as an arts researcher, educator, and consultant.

As a woman, a mother, and a privileged, Ozarkian-born musician-turned-academic, I focus my work and writing as a "pracademic", which means I strive to connect theories to practical tools and models that can be used by any arts manager and artist, no matter their discipline.
